Hello, qi warriors! I hope all of you are doing well and able to stay safe during these dark times of Chaos. During this time, I've been prepping a new RPG and it's currently on Kickstarter. If you enjoyed playing HPS, perhaps this is something that might interest you.
Pandora: Total Destruction is a tabletop RPG about overpowered supers learning to control their powers as they prepare to confront a great evil. The goal of playing this game is to create a story about these characters as they attempt to master their powers at one of the many Pandora Academies around the world. Each is an institution established by governments, corporations, or even underground networks to train supers on the use of their powers. Unfortunately, their lack of training can result in those with very destructive powers unleashing havoc on their surroundings and any innocent lives caught in the crossfire. Either played as a one-shot or as a mini-campaign, these supers-in-training will have to quickly learn how to control their powers enough to stop a great evil that develops over the course of the story created by everyone playing the game.
While this is a game about supers causing a lot of collateral damage, it's also about people with great abilities they cannot control in a world that fears them. Locked away in their Academies from their families and communities, they have an opportunity to grow into heroes despite the hurdles they face. It features an original system where rolling too high can have consequences and features a scene creation system that allows all players to have a direct impact on the direction of their story.
